Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a national player in the IT placement field who have moved to Montreal and are looking to hire an Account Director whose job it will be to build their customer base in Montreal. You will be an experienced sales person who has contacts within organizations looking to hire IT professionals. You will work in conjunction their recruiters and Account Manager to service and build your customers. They place mostly temporary positions but can and are open to permanent positions.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings and some Quebec city

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: IT placement

Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40,000 at plan, uncapped commissions (guarantee on commissions for the first year)

Car allowance: $/km

Expenses reimbursement: All customer events and reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

  • Identify companies with needs in the IT staffing world
  • Develop clients needs
  • Negotiate contracts
  • work with our bid team on RFPs and standing offers
  • Maintain and grow clients through regular contact
  • Attend industry trade shows and events in an effort to network
  • Grow market share with new clients and through existing customers
  • Work in conjunction with recruiting teams to pass on customer needs

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 100% development

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience needed

Training: On the job but requires someone with experience

Overnight Travel: Less than 10% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: At least 3 years experience  

Other requirements: You are well-connected,  

Transferable contacts: You have sold similar services in the past, selling to IT managers and directors

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of pipeline management
  • Knowledge of social selling
  • Knowledge of enterprise businesses in Montreal
