Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a pan-Canadian telecom company and is looking for an Account Manager to sell into small and medium sized businesses. If you are familiar and successful in selling cloud, SaaS, security, hosting etc, then this could be for you.

Territory: Greater Montreal area, Laval and north and West Island

Work Place: On the road and some work from home

Products/Services: IT services, SaaS, telecom and cloud services

Salary: Base $60,000 to $65,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40,000 paid monthly. Commission guarantee for the first 3 months

Car allowance: $650/month

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue and business development through the acquisition of new

customers.

Develop sales of SME business customers in your territory based on growth objectives, business plans and strategic directions of the company

Listen and understand customer needs and quickly implement creative solutions

Demonstrate the potential of Information Technology and Communications and the impacts of these on the productivity and competitiveness of businesses

Develop account plans effectively using the strategic planning process to meet current and future customer needs

Get involved and participate in various networking activities

Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office:50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English (bilingualism required)

Education: Bachelor's degree would be an asset

Training: On the job training but must have a base of information from the industry

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 3 years' sales experience in the field required

Other requirements:

Ability to think and act strategically, including navigation through all levels of a client or prospect organization

Selecting and qualifying profitable opportunities

Ability to deliver on growth and profitability

Possess an understanding of the IT industry

Previous experience in one of the following verticals would be an asset: Finance, Insurance, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Transportation, Healthcare / Pharmaceutical
