Company Profile:

Our client is a distributor of construction materials and is looking for a Director of Recruitment and Human Resources. You will manage all HR at the company and 3 recruiters. You will manage HR for Quebec and Ontario. You must be hands on and proactive.

Functions:

Ensure the performance of the recruitment team.
Coaches the team and seeks over achieving candidates.
Standardize the recruitment process from A to Z. Audits the recruiters selections
Optimize the database (ACT!) and LinkedIn to ensure efficient use and sorting.
Solicits himself/herself some management positions / directors.
Ensures the proper company culture and manages employee retention
Ensure internal procedures are followed with all terminations/resignations
Perform exit interviews and make recommendations

Job Requirements:

Academic Studies in Industrial relations and/or administration
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 5 years in recruitment and must have a developped contacts with the industrial sales area with general contractors and heavy equipment.
Experience in an expansion context is an asset.
Experience in management and headhunting.
Experience working in private enterprises; service distribution and / or manufacturing.
Experience in pay for performance
  Excellent judgement and rigorous
Very creative, hard-working, motivated and autonomous
Specialized in interviewing techniques
