Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of industrial equipment and is looking for a Sales Manager for this newly created position. You will be responsible for 5 inside sales reps and 5 outside sales reps. Your #1 task will be to grow sales while putting processes and introducing rigour into the sales department.

Functions:

Implement strategic plans for the sales organization to maximize sales potential and acquire new customer accounts -Put sales process in place; activity and funnel management tool, sales standards etc -Perform an evaluation of all of your team members in an effort to fill gaps
Conduct regular weekly sales meetings -Develop and execute strategic plan to build sales while maintaining profit levels -Create an atmosphere of sales excellence
Create company goals and objectives along with plan of action to meet/exceed targets -Provide support to your sales team by assisting on customer visits etc -Participate in high level, strategic discussions regularly
Collect and research data to reach understanding of market conditions and apply this knowledge -Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner -Coordinate and participate in developing sales presentations and marketing programs for opportunities

Job Requirements:

Academic Post secondary education required
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience A minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role required
  -You have experience with funnel management -You have experience in setting of objectives and tracking them
