Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer and converter of plastics serving mainly the printer market. They have 4 main business units: thermal films, security and identification, printable plastics and speciality and industrial films. Due to expansion, they are in need of an account manager to serve the greater Montreal area.

Functions:

Reporting to Marketing Manager. Short Term Duties (3 to 6 months training):
Become familiar with company procedures as they relate to the sales process.
Learn product line and uses.
Interact with customers, handle order entry and quoting.
Become familiar with company procedure including but not limited to: marketing strategy, company resources.
Become familiar with the company customers services in the print trade.
Near Term / Long Term Duties and Responsibilities (6 to 18 months, officially graduate to outside sales position):
Service the print trade in the Quebec region.
Manage and grow sales in territory.
Manage projects working with customers, suppliers and inside company personnel.
Assist customer service personnel to solve occasional problems with customers in territory.
Develop a thorough knowledge of company products and services.
Qualify and secure new business opportunities and strengthen existing accounts.
Deliver effective presentations including proposals to customers and business reviews to management.
Coordinate the negotiation of prices and contracts.
An escalating level of responsibility will follow as the candidate demonstrates sounds work practices and solid results.

Job Requirements:

Academic College degree.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 2 years business to business selling experience.
Experience and familiarity with general sales and marketing practices.
Experience working with external customers.
Experience and knowledges in plastic or printing field is a major asset.
  Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency.
Excellent consultation and presentations skills.
Strong interpersonal, relationship building and account management skills.
Superior problem solving skills – must be resourceful and creative with solutions
Contribute both individually and as part of a team.
A high degree of professionalism, self-starter, ambitious and is eager to learn.
