Job Description:

Profile: Our client; an importer of linen and home accessories, is looking for a sales rep who will work principally from the office and call on their existing customer base in an effort to build revenue. You will contact each of our precious clients to maintain their level of spending and/or grow it. The occasional visits will be 2-4 times per year to visit our clients in Ontario and participate in trade shows.

Territory: Ontario, Maritimes and western Canada

Salary: $45,000

Commissions/Bonus: $20,000 paid semi-annually

Car allowance: Company car available for use

Expenses reimbursement: All  hotels and meals are reimbursed once pre-approved

Identify prospects

Build and develop long term relationships with our existing clients

Establish a sales strategy

Present our product catalog to both existing and potential clients

Offer excellent customer service to all customers

Work in collaboration with others in other departments on behalf of the client

Participate in 2 trade shows per year

Visit our Ontario-based clients twice a year

Visit clients in other provinces as necessary

Must become a champion of order taking

Development vs Maintenance: 10% vs 90%

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: French and English (perfect bilingualism)

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience needed

Training:3 days of in-house training and ongoing coaching provided

Overnight Travel:less than 10% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 5 years' of inside sales experience required

Other requirements: you are dynamic, creative and determined
