Job Description:

Profile:Our customer, a distributor of warehouse equipment (boxes, shelving units, packaging equipment,..), has been firmly anchored in Quebec. The company deploys its activities in an environment while using technology in order to ensure a fast and effective service everywhere in its sphere of activities. It distributes high quality North-American products  within Canada which ensures that their customers invest in the best possible equipment.

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services:  Warehouse equipment

Salary: $45,000 to $50,000

Commissions and bonus: $3000,00 per year

Functions:

Functions:

  • Support Key Account Managers (KAMs) to improve profitability targets
  • Support KAMs with service resolution issues
  • Assist KAMs to sell, cross-sell and establish new applications with existing customer base
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Support customer relationships

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Maintain CRM pipeline database and contact information for direct accounts and KAMs
  • Participate in regular internal sales meetings and training
  • Communicate with all departments to ensure excellent customer service
  • Prepare customer quotations and proposals
  • Run reports from CRM for KAMs including price change, sales gaps and opportunities and pricing discipline for existing customers
  • Appointment setting as necessary
  • Attend customer meetings with KAMs to establish relationship support connection as required

Training: in house training

Years’ of experience:  3-5 years of outside sales experience

Other requirements:

Ability to work in a team and independently in a quick paced environment

Transferable Knowledge:  

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral

Computer literacy (MS Office, ability to learn CRM application and understand company ERP basic features)

Self-motivated and disciplined

Enjoys being well organized and efficient
