Company Profile:

Our client sells environmental services to industrial, commercial and municipal clients. This can be in the form of proactive services or after a major incident. We are looking for a director of business development who has experience selling into sales cycles up to 18 months, dealing with major customers and strategic sales selling. You will be responsible for an individual quota for 12 to 18 months then slowly you will hire and manage a sales team.

Functions:

Maintain great relationships with existing customers -Develop new clients 70% of your time
Evaluate potential within your customer base -Solicit business from newly identified prospects
Respond to inquiries from customers; -Represent the company with new customers
Oversee the implementation of trade agreements; - Keep track of all existing and potential customers

Job Requirements:

Academic College or University degree in Business Administration or related field -Base in science or engineering would be a considerable advantage
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 3 or more years experience in a similar position as generating leads, sales or account manager. -Experience canvassing (cold calling), a definite asset.
  You are autonomous and show initiative -Rigorous -Excellent communication skills -Strong interpersonal skills
