Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of computer peripherals, digital equipment and communication devices. They are looking to hire a regional sales representative for Eastern Canada.

Functions:

Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
Conducts regular one-on-one review with all major accounts to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales performance.
Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Monitors and reports to senior management about all competitive activities
Recommends on corporate strategy where applicable
Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses
Meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
Develops and maintains best in class representation of company at all events, meetings and sales calls.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s degree preferred
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Requires 5-7 years industry experience
