Job Description:

Title: Sales representative-organic food
Territory: United States
Work place: Montreal
Profile: Our client is a wholesaler of organic foods and is looking for a sales rep to sell to retailers and repackers. The person that we are looking for will have an excellent command of spoken and written English and is comfortable selling via the phone in English internationally and locally face to face. You are dynamic, work well with other team members and are a fast-study.
Products/Services: Organic food
Salary: 40,000.00$ - 60,000.00$
Commissions and bonus: First year commissions about $20,000, rises after 1st year
Car allowance:  KM reimbursement
Expenses Reimbursement: Expenses reimbursed as per company policy
All reasonable expenses reimbursed
Other benefits:  Benefits program coming this summer
Development vs Maintenance:   80% vs 20%
Road vs Office:    75% vs 25%
Languages: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent work experience will be considered
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight travel required: Less than 25% overnight travel required
Number of years sales experience: 5 years sales experience in a related field needed
Other requirements: Great communication skills
Great follow up skills with phone calls and emails
Transferable contacts: Experience selling to food brokers an asset
Transferable knowledge: Knowledge and experience trading in commodities is an asset
Functions: Develop, build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy
Assist in the logistics/supply chain, organization and delivery of the product from start to finish.
Research and target accounts.
