Our client is a well established food transformation company who is looking for a key account sales rep to cover Canada. The rep will sell to both distributors and end customers.

Functions:

Responsible for identifying, developing and selling into new chain accounts across Canada
Develops Private Label opportunities for Key Accounts
Participates in team approach to selling in order to meet company sales goals
Conducts customer service visits of potential clients and provides targeted/tailored proposals
Responsible for maintaining relationships between existing end users and new end user clients (courtesy calls) and enhances company efficiency in dealing with end user clients
Works within sales department in the preparation of in house sales materials, more specifically preparing tailored marketing presentations to potential chain account business
Responsible setting sales targets for Key Account Trade Shows
Responsible in preparing Sales Forecast and Sales Budgets for all existing and new Key Accounts
Responsible for the maintenance and growth of existing and new Key Accounts measured through actual versus sales forecasts
Actively participates in regular sales meetings
Demonstrates ability to set and meet goals and effectively manages time and priorities
Demonstrates a strong level of commitment to the objectives of the organization and provides creative solutions to problematic situations
Overlooks Customer Service Satisfaction Levels via Customer Service Reports
Demonstrates both leadership skills and works well with colleagues

Job Requirements:

Academic *DEC or Bachelor's degree an asset ( economics or marketing)
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 7 to 10 years strategic selling experience
