Profile: Our client sells products and services destined for the oil and gas industry. They are looking for an account manager who will be in charge of a group of clients in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, developing within those accounts and prospecting new clients. The account manager is strategic in nature, has a demonstrated track record in strategic selling, has sold sales cycles of 12 to 18 months and is solutions focused.
Territory: Quebec, Atlantic and Canada
Work Place: Home-based
Products/Services: Products and services sold into the oil and gas industry
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000
Commissions/Bonus: 60% of base salary paid monthly + 20% annual bonus
Car allowance:$850 per month
Expenses reimbursement:All reasonable expenses reimbursed
Other Benefits: Full and competitive benefits packages paid at 75%
Establish a sales strategies for the accounts assigned to you.
Actively pursue relationships with all clients in your base of customers in an effort to thoroughly understand their needs.
Engage with clients within their different departments.
Ensure any backlog of products is filled in the most efficient manner.
Ensure that inventory is shipped in a timely manner.
Pursue and establish strong relationships within our company through matrix selling.
Provide excellent customer service.
Develop and implement approved pricing and promotional strategies.
Attend trade shows
Development vs Maintenance: 30% vs 70%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: French and English (bilingual written and spoken)
Education: Bachelor's degree (mandatory)
Training:Extensive training program provided which could span 2 months
Overnight Travel: Up to 30% overnight travel required
Years’ of experience: 10 years' sales experience a similar industry
