Company Profile:

Our client is a security systems integrator (nationally) and is looking to hire a commercial sales representative for their Montreal office. They sell products such as wireless systems to IP networked and keypad systems to large companies. We are looking for a smart rep who can learn the technical parts of the job, is hungry and is looking for growth opportunities. The first 3 months will be largely inside learning and gradually you will start prospecting and going out on calls and developing your business.

Functions:

Build a funnel of qualified prospects - Develop all sales opportunities - Selling IP technologies
Implicate estimator on files where more technical assistance is needed -Prepare proposals and present to prospects
Participate in furthering your knowledge on our products -Fulfill revenue quota
Follow-up on all opportunities on a continued and timely basis -Update management on a regular basis on opportunities

Job Requirements:

Academic Post-secondary education from a college/university or technical institute (preferred)
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 2-3 years sales experience in a technical field
  Proven lead generating hunter-type with a passion for developing new business opportunities -Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills -self-starter; works effectively with minimal day to day supervision -Autnome able to multi-task and work within a dynamic, evolving technology-based industry -existing business and sales network (preferred)
