Our client provides personalized care for the elderly and is in need of a business development representative for the island of Montreal. This is a way to combine your consultative sales experience, relationship building and community work to make for a more meaningful career. The ideal candidate is strategic in their sales approach, highly ethical, entrepreneurial and compassionate. The business development representative’s work of “professional referral development” consists of calling on local professionals such as physicians, agencies and other people who can refer clients to us who are in need of elder home care.

Functions:

Call on referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities’ management, discharge planners, and case managers to promote our homecare services.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Prepare business plans and maintain target lists.
Prioritize accounts in accordance with the market sales plan.
He/she will develop new business and deliver professional presentations to potential new accounts. He/she will also find opportunities to increase the company’s brand awareness within the community and deliver results that meet the company’s objectives.
Identify opportunities for the company to participate in speaking engagements (help build brand equity)
Identifies the different cultural communities where these services can be of use and help promote them
Works with all levels of governments in an effort to promote services

Job Requirements:

Academic *Minimum college degree
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 3-5 years in direct health care sales experience
  Ability to effectively communicate homecare services with all levels of the healthcare delivery team
Excellent communication skills and effectively interacts with all members of the healthcare delivery team
Excellent oral/written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Verifiable track record of sales performance, and book of referral source business and contacts
Entrepreneurial spirit
Must possess a high level of integrity and trust
