Job Description:

Profile: Our client sells and produces marketing material to a variety of industries and is looking for a Sales Manager to manage a group of sales people who are focused on both new business development and maintenance of accounts. The sales manager's role is to put procedures in place and coach reps so that are effective in cross-selling and upselling.  

Territory:  Province of Quebec

Work Place:  Montréal

Products/Services: marketing products and services

Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience

Commissions/Bonus: 35% to 40% of base, paid quarterly

Car allowance: $500/month

Functions:

Establish plans and strategies to expand customer base


Establish plans/strategies to increase existing customer sales

Manage, train and motivate a team of sales people


Participate in joint calls and at times lead them for your sales people

Ensure compliance of accurate and up-to-date activity records

Coach sales people on account management and cross and upselling

Build and maintain long-term client relationships, interfacing with customers on a regular basis

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 40% vs 60%

Languages:  Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)

Education:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience needed

Training: Ongoing training provided

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years’ of experience:  At least 5 years successful sales management experience needed
