Job Description:

Profile: Our client produces a software that is sold into the higher education market; primarily in the U.S. You must be able to sell into a variety of departments which include marketing and technical support. This is an inside sales job.  

Territory: US market

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Software

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience

Commissions/Bonus: $4,000 per month at plan

Car allowance: N/A

Identify and develop prospects in the education market

Identify key decision makers

Update prospect information in CRM

Penetrate major accounts

Perform sales presentations

Negotiate contracts

Work hand in hand with their marketing and technical team team to perform a needs analysis

Build strong relationships with clients

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: Impeccable written and spoken English

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in software sales required

Other requirements: You show business acumen, you are energetic and have a track record of sales achievement

Transferable contacts: If you have sold into the education market in the U.S, this is an asset

Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of SaaS model software
