Our client holds high standards in the service they provide and the people they hire. They are looking for a marketing manager who will be responsible for developing consumer-targeted promotions and email marketing campaign offers for a range of major sports-related brands. You should have a wide range of sporting interests, a deep understanding of how to optimize email-based direct marketing campaigns to drive conversions, an analytical mind that can interpret opportunities from complex data and a high degree of numeracy with no difficulty quickly and accurately modelling profit and loss for promotion offers to maximize consumer appeal while minimizing financial exposure.

Functions:

Analyzing and interpreting customer data reports to formulate insights for decreasing churn, winning lapsed customers and increasing lifetime revenue.
Preparing and budgeting 12 month calendars of campaigns for major sports seasons
Implementing agreed marketing programs on time and to budget to meet performance goals
Briefing Brand, Design, IT and Development on requirements and timelines and managing the delivery of campaign collateral
Monitoring campaign performance, reporting to manage against KPIs and debriefing team to refine future activities.

Job Requirements:

Academic *Educated to graduate level or higher
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) but English is the predominant language.
Experience 3+ years relevant experience
  An eye for detail
An ability to balance a wide range of objectives e.g. creativity versus brand conformity
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience of working with remote partners/offices
Proven leadership skills
Abreast of major sporting calendars, events and news
