Our client, a major player in the printed advertising industry, is looking for a Local Sales Manager, for one of their advertising services division, to small-scale local companies in order to reach Quebec customers. Management of a sales team of 4 representatives.

Functions:

Reporting to the Regional General Director, the Local Sales Manager is responsible to manage a sales team (4) and coordonnate their efforts in order to meet the sales budget. In addition, he hasto maintain existing market, develop a new clientele and maximize the sales potential for the territory served by the division. He is also responsible to supervise the marketing service. Clientele : Selling to local and small businesses.
More precisely, he will perform the following responsabilities :
Plan and prepare sales budget ;
Hire, motivate, train, and evaluate the sales staff and the marketing coordinator ;
Elaborate programms to stimulate the sales ans create team spirit ;
Develop new sales strategies ;
Be involved in the business community and give a good image of the company ;
Implement mechanisms to ensure good relations with the clientele, the partners and the independants ;
Coordonnate and supervise any other project implying his sales team.
Answer demands from the national sales.

Job Requirements:

Academic The candidates must have at least a college degree ; relevant experience could be considered if the candidate not have the academic requirement.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience The candidate must possesses a minimum of 5 years selling B2B services, of which 2 years in a management position.
