Company Profile:

Our client is a distributor of several brands of tires and is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Sales Manager to manage a sales team in Quebec. Your role will be to ride with the reps, add structure, help them achieve their goals and establish process in the sales department. This is a position that could lead to a National Sales Manager role managing reps across Canada.

Functions:

Assist sales team with their activity and revenue quotas -Develop a sales plan with senior management -Spend time in the field coaching your team
Analyze and adjust territories if need be -Provide regular feedback to your team and to senior management -Set realistic targets on a per territory basis
Conduct regular 1 on 1's with reps to ensure that they are on track and assist where need be -Visit major customers, with reps to get their pulse -Hire where needed
Set activity quotas and follow through with them -Communicate any company changes to your team and customers -Ensure that sales team is able to sell on value

Job Requirements:

Academic Post secondary education needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience At least 5 years as a sales manager and with a proven track record
  Energetic -Self-assured but not cocky -Comfortable spending most of your time in the field with your reps -You know how to teach your reps how to sell on things other than price -You're bright -You know how to have a conversation at the mechanic level as well as at the C level and are comfortable with both
