Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of various heat-tracing and fire and performance wiring. The company sells the systems but also sell their value added services such as the engineering and installation. Our client is looking for a Field Service and Sales Support individual who will be responsible for positioning products to industrial customers with the aid of their sales person. Your role will be to act as a technical support to both customers and sales. You will provide training and resolve customer issues.

Functions:

General Responsabilities :
Train contractors as appropriate.
Manage product related field issues.
Manage customer relationships.
Assist Sales managers to identify and sell projects.
Assist Sales managers to integrate acquired products & channels into the sales plan.
Detailled Duties and Responsabilities:
Establish primary sales relationships with our customers within sales territory.
Resolve customer requests / issues by facilitating appropriate interface with credit, manufacturing, engineering, order entry etc…
Generate market intelligence, recommend actions to maintain competitive position, and identify preferred market segments and account base.
Work with product / marketing teams and sales channels to assist in forecasting and selling of assigned products.
Maintain an ethical and professional relationship with all customers and external contacts.
Train electrical contractors in installing Products in accordance with our recommendations in order to minimize their labour units.
Ability to fault locate/isolate certain electrical faults on cables in the field.
Supervise installations of products (as appropriate) through regular field /job site visits.
Interact with Sales Managers by managing product installation and field supervision and by reporting on field projects activity.
Resolve field deficiencies by interacting in a positive manner with the contractor.
Develop appropriate “Project List” in order to track field coverage /supervision.
Provide information from the field on competitors’ products/applications etc.
Perform other tasks that are reasonable to the job as requested by Direct Management.

Job Requirements:

Academic * Collegial or University degree in industrial electronics or electrical engineering, mechanical or industrial engineering. * Bachelor in business would be an asset.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the electrical field, or design experience within the industrial heating and wiring industry, or in the commercial construction industry is preferred.
  Excellent people skills, good team skills.
Motivated, energetic, quick learner, self-starter, works independently with minimal direction.
