Job Description:

Profile: Our client provides heavy transport services and is looking for a sales representative to join their team. This is a 100% business development role. We are looking for someone creative, sales driven and motivated by hunting new customers. You need to be able to work on your own and have several years of experience in business development.

Products/Services:  Heavy transport

Salary: $45 000

Commissions/Bonus: $30 000 (first year)

Car allowance:   $140 per week

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Development of new clients and markets

Maintain relations with new clients

Cold calling and prospection

Develop your own network  of contacts

Negotiate contracts on an annual basis

All essential tasks to exceed sales quotas

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%

Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%

Languages: French and English (spoken and written

Education: A bachelor degree is an asset

Training: Full training will be provided by the employer

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel is required

Years’ of experience: 3 to 5 years in transport and storage industry

Other requirements:

Ability to negotiate and good communication skills

Organized, disciplined, shows a good work ethic

Have a proven track record in acquiring new customers

Transferable contacts: Contacts in the transport industry is an asset

Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of transportation and storage industries is required
