Job Description:

Profile:  Our client is a distributor of electrical and mechanical parts destined for industrial clients. The rep will have responsibility for up-selling and cross-selling customers as well as finding new customers. You must have experience selling to OEMs; particularly selling to their design/marketing team. (Please provide your resume in English)

Territory: Province of Quebec

Work Place: Home Office

Products/Services: Electrical and mechanical products sold to OEMs

Salary: Base $70,000-$85,000  

Commissions/Bonus: $20,000

Car allowance: Vehicle, gas card and company credit card provided

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Other Benefits:Pension plan, medical and dental paid 50%, tablet and smart phone



Sell products to industrial customers

Grow and manage the sales pipeline

Develop new applications

Service existing customers

Pursue new product lines and new market areas

Attend on average 6 client meetings per week

Prepare weekly sales reports

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: Bilingualism

Education: College degree with a technical spin

Training: Internal training provided but must have prior industry knowledge

Overnight Travel: Less than 15% per year

Years’ of experience: 5 to 7 years' solution selling in the industrial sector needed
