Our client is a manufacturer of capital equipment bought by people in the packaging, pharmaceutical, consumer and industrial goods industries. We are looking for a Major Account Representative who has successfully sold capital equipment to any of these industries. If you have experience with a complex sales cycle of 6 months and thrive on new business development, then perhaps this the position for you.

Functions:

Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner
Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner
Determine market strategies & goals for each product and service
Obtain& coordinatinate data & information from staff & member groups
Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner
Operate within annual expense budget
Attend and participate in Trade Shows, sales meetings and other company specified activities.
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers
Establish & maintain industry contacts that lead to sales
Work with sales administration and staff to establish a communication path with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products & services
Develop presentations & workshops

Job Requirements:

Academic *University degree preferred
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience A minimum of 5 years sales experience in a similar role
  Professional looking
Business Development skills (new business)
Used to a complex sale
