Company Profile:

Our client is a Canadian company dedicated to helping employers take control of their group insurance and retirement plans. This company is a firm of benefits consultants aimed at medium and large enterprises (50 to 5000 employees).

Functions:

Track workflow and sales through reporting mechanism/spreadsheets to ensure that all files are properly set up, and that forecasting and account details are up to date
Manage an assigned block of business in relation to plan design, cost containment initiatives, renewals, reporting and service deliverables
Lead and manage the implementation of both new groups and conversion of existing accounts, followed by quality review and delivery of all communication and administration material to the client, prior to coverage effective date.
Present annual financial renewal to clients and/or brokers which includes a review of all products and value-added services that are available
Develop announcement letters for employers to communicate changes to employees
Where necessary, work with clients to collect deficits, outstanding premiums or claim funding adjustments, that are not paid on invoices
Ensure Group Benefits Administration agreement, PAD information, commission agreement (if applicable) and lapse letter for clients are completed and signed
Participate in industry conferences, seminars, etc. to promote 's services and keep abreast of industry trends and activities

Job Requirements:

Academic *College diploma *License in group insurance for the Province of Quebec
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 5 years work experience in the group insurance or health care industry
  A high level of productivity required while ensuring standards are upheld
Ability to prioritize activities to meet both client and corporate needs
Client focused
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Creative and self motivated
Flexible and open to change
