Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of hardware materials sold to both the retail and industrial customer space. The Vice President of Sales reports to the President and CEO and is a member of the company’s executive team. He/she is responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, distribution and channel strategy.

Functions:

Oversee the hiring and development of a global sales organization, appropriate for the company’s maturity/size. -Be a role model for the company culture
Establish compensation, training, and sales incentive programs. -Drive the development of national, and, if appropriate, international sales strategies
Work closely with Director of Marketing to develop, establish, and direct channel distribution strategies, programs and promotions. -Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
Work closely with Director of Marketing to develop and execute lead programs. -Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management. -Develop pricing policies including volume discounts and terms and conditions for high-profile customers and channel partners.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 10-15 years of experience in Hardware industry or Industrial Distribution or other in a category sales planning or marketing role
  A positive, outgoing, "can-do" attitude. -Ability to turn every rejection into an opportunity -Strong team management experience needed
