Our client is a manufacturer and leader in the university furniture field. They have established their reputation by manufacturing quality furniture for the college, university and military housing markets across North America.

Functions:

Sets sales reps' goals, follows them diligently in an effort to meet or exceed sales targets ;
Develop and mantain solid relationships with our biggest customers and with potential customers by offering a high-quality customer service ;
Communicate strategic plan to the sales team ;
Elaborate programs to stimulate the sales and to help create team spirit and motivate reps ;
Hire, motivate, train and evaluate sales team (7 to 8 sales representatives) ;
Evaluate sales representatives regularly to identify and build on strengths, identify weaknessess in an effort to improve ;
Help advance the sales cycle with reps ;
Act as a mentor to sales representatives ;
Coordinate and supervise all projects with your team. N.B. The Sales Manager's evaluation will be based on strong results and customer service skills.

Job Requirements:

Academic University degree in administration, marketing or any others related field is highly recommended because your clientele will be Universities.
Languages Perfect Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) - 95% of the clientele will be anglophone.
Experience Minimum of 3 years as a sales manager ;
Experience selling to colleges and universities ;
Experience in the furniture business in a B2B environment will be an asset ;
Experience selling in the US market will be an asset.
  Strong emotional intelligence ;
Ability to work in a fast-growing company ;
Good listenting skills ;
Dynamic and energetic ;
Good self-knowledge.
