Company Profile:

Our client is a large distributor of packaged goods and serves several markets. They are in need of a representative who has sold to the healthcare market and to property management companies. Our customer is looking for someone to provide outside sales representation in the Property Management and healthcare segment. You will be responsible to manage and grow a given territory, develop new markets and clients in order to increase sales profitability

Functions:

For existing customers increase sales volume by providing professional sales support while identifying new opportunities and introducing new products
Activities include developing and executing a call plan, performing business reviews, maintaining a full sales hopper, monthly erosion analysis, price negotiation, quarterly customer stratification maintenance, new product introduction, and execution of regional and national programs
You will dedicate substantial time and effort around identifying and securing new customers.
Activities include developing target accounts and growth strategies, specific needs analysis and new product introductions
Support and execution of company directed marketing and operational initiatives.
Support selected vendor programs, make calls with vendors, follow corporate direction on vendor contact and cost negotiation, support marketing initiatives, and support on-line ordering
Effective administration of policies and procedures and required documentation
Sales representatives are required to continuously improve their industry knowledge to facilitate strategic decisions
Activities include being an active member of trade associations, database of competitor’s, industry knowledge, and trends

Job Requirements:

Academic *Post-secondary education in sales/ marketing
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience A minimum of 3-5 years business to business selling experience
  A competitive nature with an established track record of demonstrating above- average performance selling skills
Possess a clear understanding of our services, products, and our competitive position in the marketplace
Demonstrated track record in achieving sales targets within specific criteria, constraints and time limits
Ability to interact effectively with a large number of internal and external customers, showing flexibility in meeting their individual needs
