Functions:

As a member of sales management team, the national sales manager provides leadership and vision to maximize sales and profitability. He must also provide dynamic, visible and inspirational leadership to positively impact business initiatives, direction, and vision for the team and peers.
Maximizes category presence among current distribution channels while identifying new market and product segments to foster future sales growth. Manages preseason sales plan and implements season objectives, sales meeting, major account appointments, major account negotiations.
Responsible for driving the wholesale sales for a leading apparel brand and assisting with the establishment of proactive selling strategies.
Partners with VP of Sales in the strategic planning process for category, territory of all Canadian wholesale business. Responsible for analyzing current business and forecasting future growth. Provides product and sales input to direct future product development.

Job Requirements:

Academic The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or another related field.
Languages Bilingual, as much written and spoken. (French and English)
Experience The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years sales experience in the apparel and/or equipment market.
  Experience in managing a diverse and creative group of individuals and leading change. Demonstrated ability to work with and inspire a broad range of individuals to work toward a common goal. Must have a track record in re-establishing procedures, implementing key sales initiatives and executing processes.
