Company Profile:

Our client sells and services Geotechnical drilling equipment destined for the construction industry. This new position in Quebec is largely new business development and requires someone with heavy equipment experience. You should have a keen understanding of how to sell value.

Functions:

Identify opportunities to quote and sell drilling equipment
Initiate and build territory
Produce quotes for customer sale and/or rental
Convert rental customers into sold customers by staying abreast of the account and developments
Provide technical support with the help of the application engineer
Identify key people who contribute to the decision to purchase
Prepare and conduct sales presentations
Prepare sales forecasts diligently
Maintain call reports

Job Requirements:

Academic College degree or equivalent work experience needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 5 years of outside product sales experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry
  Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have documented history of successful product sales
Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word) as well as excellent time management and organizational skills
Must have a clean, valid driver’s licence.
