Our customer is a leading provider of advanced video image processing solutions offering a broad range of products and solutions designed to meet the exact needs of the television broadcast industry, cable and satellite providers, the emerging IPTV market, digital TV consumers and select OEM and interllectual preperty licensees.

Functions:

Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for setting and executing the marketing strategy for their products for their targeted market segments. CORE RESPONSABILITIES:
Develop and implement communication strategies and marketing plans.
Support product management in execution of product launches.
Create marketing collateral and promotional materials.
Develop content and manage corporate Web site.
PUBLIC RELATIONS:
Write press releases.
Research and develop media list and distribution process for news releases for each market segment.
Pitch company, products, case studies and articles to editors and analysts.
PROMOTIONNAL MATERIAL:
Work with product management and graphic design to develop product datasheets, brochures.
Coordinate with Sales team to write Customer Success Stories and to create timely Sales promotions.
Work with management and graphic design to develop messaging, content and design of advertising materials.
WEB SITE:
Collaborate in concept development for design/layout with internal Web designer.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging with print and e-mail marketing materials.
Manage timely delivery of content; ensure all materials are available online.

Job Requirements:

Academic * Bachelor of Commerce, major in marketing or related degree in Communications, Public Relations ou Journalism.
Languages * Bilingualism, both English & French (written & spoken). * Superior verbal and written English communications skills. * French communication skills required.
Experience 10 to 15 years of experience in B2B marketing communications and public relations for high-tech companies.
  Organizational skills: marked ability to manage projects autonomously.
Creativity, attention do details, initiative.
