Our client is a national transportation company and provides services such as air freight, integrated trucking and courier to major customers across Canada.

Functions:

Proactively hunt for target organizations and establish communication with those businesses that would benefit from client's solutions
Gain access into strategic accounts, develop contact relationships, and conduct needs and opportunities discovery to close new business
Create and manage an active sales funnel and manage a key account book of business including account development business plans for new and existing clients
Solve client transportation and logistics problems through profitable, customized solutions utilizing transportation and distribution modes, company value-added and specialized services and unique business process integration capabilities.
Maintain strong, effective relationships with Montreal and national teams – Operations, Service, Sales, and Corporate.

Job Requirements:

Academic *Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience A compelling record of 5 years business development success in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
  Energetic personality with a self-directed work ethic
High commercial acumen with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to help clients to improve their businesses
