Company Profile:

Our international client manufactures refractory materials primarily for the steel industry.

Functions:

Selling primarily to existing accounts who are repeat customers.
Responsabilities include all aspects of technical sales and services.
Generation of new sales, including customer need assessment, product selection with our technical group, preparation of quotations, drawing review and approval, order placement, trial installation, monitoring, assessment and follow-up.
Servicing of existing sales, including regular customer visits, contacting with refractory’s supervisors, engineers and purchasing agents
Regular product performance assessment, continuous improvement programs, etc.
Monitoring of product usage and inventory levels and placing orders with our manufacturing plants.
Selling to technical people such as engineers.
Product quality complaint investigations, preparation of internal and customer reports.
Invoicing and payment follow-up.

Job Requirements:

Academic Engineering degree in ceramics, metallurgy or chemistry would be a major asset.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years sales experience.
Industry experience preferable, preferably in the metallurgical field.
