West Island until the Ontario border

Company Profile:

Our client is a manufactuer of construction materials. They sell to general contractors and builders (residential and commercial). This position requires a sales rep who is strong in building long term relationships as you will be working with your clients over several projects.

Functions:

To represent the company and maintain an existing target market that is composed mainly of small and medium business as well as some large accounts.
Explore the territory well with focus on the development of Ville St-Laurent, Lachine, West Island , Vaudreuil all the way to the borders with Ontario.
To meet adequaltly the needs of customers.
Schedule face to face meetings, given that 80% of your time will be spent on the road.
Develop new accounts
Manage priorities while on the road.
Follow up on the major projects within the territory
Inform your supervisor of the activities within your territory
Provide technical assistance to customers on construction sites.
Participate in promotional activities

Job Requirements:

Academic Cegep education
Languages Strong spoken French needed
Experience 5 years Business to Business sales experience
Experience selling to contractors would be an asset
