Company Profile:

This newly created position for our manufacturer client is to sell high end furniture to retailers in Texas, Florida and the north east US. Your role will be to hunt new retailers and take care of a small existing base of customers. We are looking for a sales person who has a sense of style and is comfortable selling a high end product. The ideal candidate will have sold to the same types of clients and has a successful track record. Although the office is on the south shore, the employer does not expect presence at the office every day but from time to time.

Functions:

Perform all aspects of the sales process to insure an overall favorable brand experience that results in achieving annual sales quotas by product -Prospect within your assigned territory
Identify new sales opportunities with new and existing customers -Close sales opportunities by gaining purchase order
Train and support retailers sales personnel by educating them on our products - Cultivate consultative relationships with key decision makers and influencers
Work to develop some undeveloped territories and customers -Work in collaboration with internal resources to provide excellent customer service -Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on prospects and customers

Job Requirements:

Academic College degree or equivalent work experience needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 5 years experience in the industry
  You are a self-starter -You can demonstrate success in the field in the past -You have occupied a role of new business development in the past with success
