Company Profile:

Our client is a national distributor for hair and beauty products. Their clients include salons, spas and schools. This is primarily an inside position with the exception of their Ottawa territory; 10% travel to Ottawa is required. This newly created position is for someone who knows how to take care of a customer base in an exciting industry.

Functions:

Manage selected distributor and esthetic accounts in your territory.
Follow your territory’s call frequency report to determine the frequency of customer contact (calls, visits, and sales meetings)
For each customer, establish a sales plan with objectives and forecasts to increase sales.
Annually, review these objectives with the national sales manager in relation to your overall sales strategy and that of the company.
Based on previous monthly sales, set short- and long-term strategies and troubleshoot your accounts.
Ensure timely and efficient service and follow-ups for all correspondence to accounts to ensure that all issues are taken care of.
Ensure that all accounts incorporate Bi-Monthly specials and new products in their sales efforts.
Ensure that customers maintain the proper quantity and product mix of items, all products are properly merchandised in distributor's stores (Ottawa).
Prepare and implement in-pocket deals, promotions, and contests for your customers.
Perform monthly sales analyses on specific accounts indicated by the National Sales Manager
Prepare for, attend, and participate in all National Sales Meetings and conference calls.
Remain aware of all corporate policies (i.e.: returning merchandise) and ensure that all pertinent policies and related procedures/documentation are communicated to your accounts.
Remain abreast of competitive trends and recommend courses of action if necessary.
Evaluate possible new accounts and forward a recommendation whether they should be opened or not.
Submit sales reports as needed

Job Requirements:

Academic *Minimum College degree
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 3 years in a similar role
  must have a take charge, problem solving attitude
must be comfortable troubleshooting with customers
