Our client sells both products and services to big business related to the field of the transport, handling and disposal of hazardous materials. They are in need of an internal sales rep. The inside Sales Representative provides constant customer contact, building and enhancing business relationships. As an Inside Sales Representative you play a key role in working with our customers on a day-to-day basis and in meeting the highest standards of our customer service

Functions:

Proactively contact company's current, past and potential customers with the aim of maximizing our sales potential through active prospecting and cold calling.
Target is to achieve a weekly total of a minimum of 75 quality calls.
Develop existing customers into new business opportunities by cross selling and up selling into new projects and initiatives.
Manage sales contacts by implementing a regular call schedule to customers ensuring that communication lines are open and all questions and concerns by the customer are answered and dealt with appropriately
Actively participate in company’s sales promotions, and to assist in the development of the sales skills of other staff in the office to enable them to make the most of the promotions.
Consistently increase revenue using various tools and methods, including cold calling, prospecting and other sales resources to close business.
Actively generate leads for outside sales staff
Record all your outgoing activity for follow-up, lead tracking and pipeline development efforts in our CRM system. You should assist in the clean-up of the data in the CRM system and ACCPAC as you go.
Provide weekly activity report to Branch Manager, and General Manager by the end of the day each week.
Provide regular reports to management regarding feedback from customers
Notify management of tradeshows and conferences that could be of interest to company.
Develop and maintain a good understanding of company’s product line, including learning the key features and benefits of company's products and service offerings to determine the appropriate product/service in a particular market or end user type.
Make full use of all tools provided by company to maximize sales potential including CRM, ACCPAC, marketing pieces, regulatory knowledge and staff, label production knowledge, packaging expertise, association memberships, etc….
Achieve individual and team sales and profit targets provided by the Branch Manager, including objectives built around new product launches

Job Requirements:

Academic *College degree or equivalent needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 1 year of successful sales experience, preferably in an inside sales environment
  Excellent customer relationship development skills.
Strong desire to find and develop new business with the ability to open conversations and close deals.
Ability to add value by recognizing, understanding and working in the best interest of our clients.
Tenacious sales professional with cold calling experience.
Excellent telephone, telemarketing and customer service skills and manner.
Excellent written and oral French/English communication skills.
Project management skills demonstrating organizational ability and attention to detail.
