Our client is a large pan-Canadian telecommunications company.

Functions:

The Account Manager; Commercial wireless is responsible for the preparation of a business plan for each account assigned, the strategic plan, the tactical actions and the successful roll out in an effort to exceed sales and revenue objectives.
The business objectives include solutions wireless data solutions, wireless internet as well as wireless vehicule tracking.
The account manager is responsible for determining the different spheres of influence and the decision makers in an effort to build solid business relationships. The account manager also needs to build a strong network of contacts within the organization.
The strategic plan for each account will include an account profile with a SWOT analysis (strengths weaknesses, opportunities and threats). The account manager should also be familiar with market conditions, general business conditions, social and political influences on each account assigned.
The tactical plan should be in line with the strategic plan with the assignment of roles and responsibilities of each member of the team on each account.
The account manager is responsible for positioning the company as the company of choice and solution provider for wireless services.
Prepare RFPs, proposales, RFIs, tenders and presentations as the need arises.
Use a variety of skills to identify and prepare commercial files in an effort to advance the sales process. These include:
A detailed examination of needs.
Corporate account profile.
Cost benefit analysis with an emphasis on ROI.
Positioning of our offer.
Professional presentations organized for small and medium groups of senior managers.
Successful attainment of sales objectives.
Build strong long-term relationships with customers.

Job Requirements:

Academic Minimum DEC or university degree (preferably in administration or technology).
Languages Bilingualism, strong aptitude for oral communication in both English and French.
Experience A minimum of 3 years of account management is required.
Sales experience of wireless solutions is a must (cellular, GPS, Internet,...).
Experience in contract negociation.
  Must exhibit leadership skills, honesty, integrity, rigour in your work methodology, analytical and an above average work ethic.
Results oriented.
