Functions:

Planning and Development : • Establishes a prospecting plan; identifies potential clients using knowledge of the market electronic databases, industry trade associations, trade shows, networking events and other sources of information. • Manage his/her time and prioritize client visits and communications in accordance with commercial objectives.
Preparing Action Plans : • Target potential customers that could fit the company profile based on preset guidelines. Identifies decision makers with target customers. Establish a multi-level sales approach with colleagues when appropriate. • Maintains a good understanding of client business segments and proposed solution by the competitors. • Identifies and analyzes customer needs and develops adapted solutions to meet their expectations. • Negotiates prices and conditions based on the type of service offered; propose complementary services. • Close the sale by obtaining a service agreement/contract.
Follow-up and Portfolio Maintenance : • Build and maintain an excellent relationship with your pool of potential and existing customers. Ensure follow-up and portfolio maintenance by making regular contacts with customers via a detailed call cycle list. Introduce, when appropriate, other colleague to your clients. • Insure that all sales activity and client maintenance activity is documented in Maximizer salesplace. • Anticipate evolution of customer demand and translate those into service offerings. • Collaborates with Solutions Designer, IT and key accounts teams in developing innovative value propositions and customer solutions. • Gather and share with staff, verbally or in written, pertinent market information on existing and prospective clients as well as on emerging industry trends and competitors activities. • Identifies and introduces additional business opportunities within the scope of our company.
The sales representative will be responsible to develop US ground activity related to 3PL logistics global sourcing. Generate a minimum of 250 000$ in profit the first year.

Job Requirements:

Academic The candidate must possess a College degree, preferably a univesity degree.
Languages Bilingual, both written and spoken (French and English).
Experience The candidate must possess experience in the transport industry (ideally 5 years). Further more, the candidate must have the ability to conduct multi level selling.
