Company Profile:

Our client, a major player in the printed advertising industry, is looking for a Sales Manager for one of their advertising services division, to National accounts based in Montreal and Toronto. The candidate will manage a sales team of 7 representatives (development team) and eventually 4 others representatives (existing client team).

Functions:

Supervises a Sales team of 6-7 "Development" Reps and eventually 4 others "Maintenance" Reps ; Coordinates the team effort in order to meet the sales budget
Manages actual customers and develops new ones in order to contribute to the company's growth
Together with the Vice President, plans and prepares sales budgets
Elaborates incentive programs to motivate Sales Force and create a great team spirit
Develops new Sales strategies
Involved in the business community; good vehicle of the company's brand name
Plans and facilitates Sales meetings
Sets up mecanisms to ensure follow-ups with customers
Provides a sound Consulting role to advertising agencies in a multi-product environment
Good knowledge of the web and the internet in order to incorporate them to the sales strategies
Attends Sales committee as well as special projects

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor's degree is a major asset although significant experience could compensate if no University degree.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) is essential
Experience At least three years of experience related to sales management and sales/expenses budgets
  Able to adapt easily; good stress management
Good interpersonal skills
Able to develop and maintain durable business relations
Good judgement, rigorous, leadership; capable of motivating his/her team
