Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of perishable goods and is looking to hire a sales manager who will manage a team of 3 to 6 sales people and take care of their top accounts. You are a hands on manager who will be equally comfortable negotiating with head office VPs as well as interacting with factory workers. This position reports directly to the president.

Functions:

Identify new opportunities in Quebec, Ontario and the US within major accounts -Identify and implement strategies to win business -You will be responsible for negotiating multi-year contracts, maintaining it and responding to their day to day requests
Negotiate multi-year commercial contracts -Define and create tactics to become the #1 supplier in each product category
Evaluate your team's results and put in place KPI's to evaluate their progress -Structure and organize sales department
Ensure orders are put into the system in a timely manner -Work with other departments to ensure smooth delivery and functioning of the client's account

Job Requirements:

Academic A university degree in business is an asset or relevant experience
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 5 years experience selling to chain stores
  "Can-do" person -Rolls up your sleeves when needed -Strong negotiator -Great communicator
