Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of building materials and seeks a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for Quebec and Atlantic Canada. You will be responsible for sales to new and existing clients, the management of regional sales staff, liaison with and expansion of the distribution network in their territory and some specification work.

Functions:

liaison with all regional sales staff, head office and distributors/retailers in order to expand our sales volume -Implement sales promotions measures to customers and specifiers of products
Grow sales revenue to new and existing clients -Plan regular visits to customers and report on regional activities on a weekly basis
Prepare detailed yearly sales plan for the region -Provide CEU (continuing education units) or lunch and learns to specifiers
Provide market status reports and report on regional activities weekly -Visit major clients regularly

Job Requirements:

Academic College degree or equivalent experience needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience A minimum of 5 years experience in the industry required
  Must be self-managed -must be self-motivated
