Our client is an international provider in the field of industrial equipment. They are presently searching for a sales coordinator to join their team.

Functions:

Verify product needs of three Canadian branches and Montreal office on a daily basis, considering minimal levels of required inventory, current orders, order transfers and transits.
Collaborate with purchasing and production departments making sure that orders are treated in a reasonable delay while respecting delivery deadlines.
Collaborate with the production planner to ensure a ratio of tools in production according to our needs and inventories equivalent or superior to 90 %
Make sure with the representatives and branch managers to keep a maximum of 20 % of products in slow rotation.
Collaborate with the production planner and the sales director for the product sales forecasts
Collaborate with the logistics department to verify the location and exactitude of inventory levels
Validate with accounts receivable that there are no merchandise shipping restrictions to clients
Coordinate with the quality assurance and sales representatives to settle any non-compliance issues concerning shipping or production errors and apply the appropriate corrective measures.
Help the branch employees on the use of the Navision system and with them standardize work methods
Act as the liaison between the internal sales representatives, our branches and all other departments
Participate in sales and management meetings, and participates in the elaboration of new procedures.
Distribute customer orders from the web site to the sales representatives and follow-up with them.
Reserve available products for customer orders all the while considering: order seniority, level of urgency, production and purchase delays, weekly shipping schedules.
Get pickup orders to shipping department and make sure that shipments are made on time
Submits a follow-up report on sales representative submissions to the sales director.
When time permits, close order files in Navision by adding the data relative to shipping and transfer orders.
Replace the production planner during his or her vacation

Job Requirements:

Academic *Bacholor's degree in Administration - Operations and Production Management or Marketing options; or Diplôme d'études collégiales in Administration.
Languages *Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) *Spanish
Experience 2 to 3 years experience as a Sales Coordinator for a manufacturing company or distributor with multiple office locations.
