This publically traded companyis US based with 100 employees in Canada.They are experiencing rapid growth and expansion. They sell online solutions both at the transactional and strategic level.

Functions:

•Through effective prospecting and cold calling, builds loyal customer relationships with no significant revenue history within assigned territory. Focus is primarily on new business development. •Develops territory and account strategies to support and to meet and exceed assigned monthly quota. •Focuses the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs utilizing solution selling models.
•Establishes sales objectives by accurately forecasting and developing monthly sales quotas for territories; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products. •Develops plans to achieve results at the region, revenue stream, market, territory and account levels. •Through the use of proven solution selling models, builds a customer centric organization and drives consistent high loyalty ratings. •Understands the market, the customer and the competition. Continually seeks ways to keep current on changes in the marketing.
•Able to take a strategic plan and make it operational. Translates the business plan and communicate it down to the Field Sales Rep level in a way that is meaningful to them. •Achieves sales results/goals by planning, counseling, coaching employees, monitoring, and appraising job results. In addition, maintains adequate pipeline to achieve goals: accurately and consistently forecast business results.
•Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training, coaching, developing, motivating and performance management.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university required, MBA preferred
Languages This is a national sales management role so French would be an asset although not necessary.
Experience •Minimum of 5 to 7 years of field sales experience with a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in sales management role with proven track record of success; background in online services or recruiting a plus. •Proven experience with consultative/solution selling in advertising/HR or related field, preferably within an online, interactive media environment.
  •Demonstrates high energy with an ability and comfort level to be in the field with their team, 80% of their time. •Possesses a passion for “people” management with proven success in building a strong team. Strong leader, team player with strong management and coaching skills •Solid analytical skills with a proven understanding of key sales/marketing metrics; prior P&L management experience a plus.
