Company Profile:

Our client manufactures products sold to the packaging and printing industry. They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will manage a team of 8 sales people.

Functions:

Manages sales forces aligned with large national accounts and smaller regional independent customers.
Coordinates training of sales people in the business unit.
Controls pricing guidelines, setting prices and allowable discounts and approving all exceptions
Sets volume / revenue / margin targets
Develops annual operating plan
Directs target focus, monitors existing business & supports crossover business
Manages and controls sales tracking system and monitor P&L of existing and new business
Monitors market pricing. Works to maintain or grow margins.
Influences manufacturing and logistics functions to get products to the marketplace as and when required
Manages companys salary administration, policy and procedures and sales compensation programs
Conducts periodic and ‘as required targets and territory reviews, provides sales employees coaching and development and monitors and controls key account management and development plans

Job Requirements:

Academic *MBA or equivalent experience would be an asset *Bachelor's degree preferred
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Ten (10) years industry sales experience.
A minimum of 2 years sales management experience needed
  Ability to develop, present and/or analyze financial information associated with sales proposals and market forecasts
Ability to influence buying decisions and effectively interact with all levels of customer decision-makers, as well as all levels of internal and external technical and manufacturing personnel
Ability to secure internal resources to respond to customer issues
