Our client develops and sells software destined for the health industry. They are in growth mode and are looking for a General Manager to manage top line, bottom line iniatives and strategies to achieve business goals.

Functions:

Full P&L responsibility for the company's business in Canada
Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to assure that the company wins profitable solution and services sales within the region
Drive Region specific strategy to achieve business goals, with focus on high impact, strategic sales initiatives and driving regional margin
Enhance the Region’s capabilities for executing complex business deals combining solutions and services. Be personally engaged in leading the biggest, most strategic deals within the region
Effectively leverage key industry information and market knowledge to gain competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Build strong long term relationships with customers; provide leadership and direction in crucial customers interface.
Lead the regional long range plan and Plan process
Actively manage and develop all levels of the Region’s staff, both direct and indirect reports, and support the company’s talent development and management approaches.
Build and manage strong and efficient team. Lead through them to obtain outstanding performance. Drive collaborative culture to ensure teams are effectively trained and supported to meet strategic business goals together.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor's Degree Required. Master Degree Preferred.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience At least 6 years experience in Business Management OR equivalent years of experience in leadership positions within the Software industry with in-depth knowledge of enterprise software solutions
  Strong business acumen with ability to analyze financial needs accurately and establish budget effectively
Exceptional presentation skills; able to present ideas and communicate to customers and team in a way that produces understanding and impact
Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive constant improvement in process and ability to achieve organizational goals.
