Our client is the maker of software that is sold worldwide. They have a young hip team and have just created this new position for someone who can bridge the gap between selling and technology. The role is to; once an opportunity is identified; drive client engagement, do deep dive customer needs analysis, perform demos and provide creative customer solutions. This position is where "geek" meets sales and cool.

Functions:

Participate in customer calls with VP business development - Perform deeper needs analysis with customer (s)
Perform technical demos with customer - Bring together the right people to participate at the right time
Leverage our software against customer needs - Come up with creative solutions
Interface with our programmers on a regular basis - Interface with business users, finance users and operations users -Learn; in detail about our customers' world

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s degree (preferable)
Languages Impeccable English - Knowledge of another language is an asset
Experience 3+ years of Software selling experience
  Very customer oriented - You know when to wear a suit and tie versus jeans - You love software solutions - Very comfortable with technology, in fact, you love it - You have demonstrated value-added selling skills (not "me too" )
