Our client offers pan-Canadian payment processing solutions to businesses. These include debit card and credit card processing as well as ecommerce solutions. Due to internal promotions, they are looking for two (2) Sales Reps to prospect medium sized businesses in every industry segment. Functions:

Prospecting, self-sourcing of business opportunities (networking and cold-calling), responding to partner and channel referrals and overall effective management of the sales pipeline to turn sales activities into captured revenue.
Selling additional services and products offered by the company to existing clients as appropriate.
Developing proposals and presentations from templates provided targeted at solving business needs of prospects.
Negotiating pricing and working collaboratively with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure pricing reflects the achievement of corporate goals.
Utilizing a proactive consultative sales approach, for the appropriate match of company products and services to meet identified merchant needs.
Timely and accurate completion of sales paperwork to ensure a seamless client experience.
Procurement of all necessary information and documentation for new customer acquisition.
Initiate the boarding process and ensure minimal deficiencies for completion of the process within service levels in order to exceed the client’s expectations.
Timely production and delivery of pipeline and other related Sales Management Information Reports as assigned.
Staying abreast of current processing industry trends and being able to converse intelligently about the card industry as a whole (Issuing and Acquiring).
Continuous improving performance skills including sales skills and the identification of potential training opportunities to improve sales and post-sales effectiveness.
In this position there are 4 sources for leads/prospection: 1) Warm leads from banks. 2) VARs-value added resellers. 3) Referrals from existing customers (new branches, company expansions etc). 4) Prospection. A rep who overachieves works all 4 sources simultaneously and is able to multitask.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or equivalent business experience.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken).
Experience A minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience including Pipeline Management, reporting, strategic prospecting, and consultative selling.
  Self-starter with high level of initiative.
Able to be a team player.
Ability to organize one’s time and efforts to drive results.
