Company Profile:

Our client provides financial services to banks. They are in need of a major account representative who is responsible for managing and developing strategies for their Quebec based accounts. The role involves a list of targetted accounts whereby you will be responsible for building account strategies and executing them. A credit and criminal background check will be required to be hired.

Functions:

Develop and execute customized account plans to increase sales volume and market share within the assigned accounts
Create new sales and revenue generating opportunities as appropriate
Expand existing relationships/partnerships through the selling of products and services.
Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client's business objectives are met and that the performance metrics of their payment portfolios are maximized
Prepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships with merchants for accepting and deploying products and services
Continuously review client landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing the business
Assist marketing and product development in launching new products or expanding the penetration of existing products within current and new accounts.
Contribute to the development of functional strategy.
Participate in sales meetings and training activities
Participate in Quebec based sales calls outside of responsibilities as requested

Job Requirements:

Academic *Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Typically requires a minimum of 8 years business experience with 2 years related sales and relationship management in the payments industry or related field.
  Exceptional ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships.
Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships.
Consulting experience a plus.
A demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making.
