Their expertise is in producing all types of events, including fundraisers, congress events and conferences, as well as galas and music performances. They offer a turnkey service including the design, planning and execution of events such as tours, festivals, outdoor and micro events. They are currently expanding their corporate events/promotional events division and are looking for a strategic hunter with a proven track record in business development.

Functions:

- Open doors, develop and close sales opportunities within our corporate and promotional events division - Develop business relationships with various industry suppliers in the production of events, such as sound equipment suppliers, lighting, stage, manufacturers of sets, costumes , catering services , bar services , artist agencies, promotional companies , advertising companies and more.
Approach companies to make yourself known by these companies and see what services or products may be used to produce our events or develop partnerships for sponsorship.
Identify, develop and maintain key accounts as well as foster new relationships to exceed revenue goals - Identify and generate new sales opportunities and initiatives to drive corporate event sales - Partner and network within industry organizations to develop strong relationships and obtain sales leads - Preparing proposals and event budgets, that are geared towards maximizing profit while fulfilling customer needs
Identify market trends to support managements in strategic decision making - Continuously expand knowledge of industry and competition to ensure proper placement in the marketplace - Meet and exceed targets in a deadline-driven, fast-paced atmosphere. - Serve as the key point of contact for clients

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelors degree or equivalent experience will be considered
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 5 recent years in transferable B2B sales experience
  Looking for a disciplined overachiever - Able to sell value over price - Must be able to inspire confidence - Disciplined with little need for supervision
