Our client develops software aimed at large organizations and helps these organizations go to market sooner. This software helps align product management/development with the corporate strategy. We are looking for a solutions sales person. The rep will cover the western United States as a territory.


The Account Executive will be responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all of the sales activities in the assigned territory within an emerging market.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, the Account Executive is expected to develop the assigned territory and accounts and for achieving the assigned revenue targets.
Actively participate in strategic sales and marketing opportunities via speaking engagements, sales calls, presentations and targeted executive relationship building, including representing the organisation at exhibitions, trade shows and events.
Develop and implement sales plans for the assigned sales territories based upon external market analysis and effective account and territory planning.
Act proactively to create opportunities for new business, including developing and maintaining a list of target strategic “must-win” accounts and doing lead generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow-up.
Gain clear understanding of customers' business and needs including assessing, gathering and documenting information on customer business problems.
Develop Customer Account Plans, including clearly mapping the customer organizational structure and power base
working with product marketing to develop unique differentiating value propositions for target customers
Organizing presentation and demonstrations
Be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness of sales processes including revenue forecasts, maintaining complete and accurate records of activities, producing activity/call reports, and following guidelines when prospecting and selling, adhering to pre-defined sales, service, win/lost methodologies.
Documenting competitive intelligence
Complete revenue related administration (including collection)
Ensure customer satisfaction and protect revenue
Build solid and lasting corporate relationships
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals

Job Requirements:

Academic *Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a directly related field
Languages *Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Has been a highly successful sales executive in the enterprise software industry, for a minimum of 7 years with overall business experience in excess of 15 years.
Five or more years' experience in sales of complex, Executive level, high value solutions.
